The product webpage advises, “Compatible with most standard kitchen and bathroom faucets with G1/2" thread sizes.” Our 15-year-old DELTA kitchen faucet has been dripping for months – no replacement parts for it from them. I thought these valves might work. The old handle was held in place with a very difficult to remove set screw, so the old internal valve used a flat surface (see pic). These valves assume a top-down screw securing the handle. (My mistake not taking apart the old handle before ordering.) The valve fits the faucet base and by using pliars, it shut off the water completely. The valves have a red gasket for HOT and blue gasket for COLD. My impression is that they are very well-made. My suggestion is removing the old faucet handle and make sure the valve is compatible with the handle design as well as the socket dimensions. I will keep these valves for future use.

At first glance, these cartridges appear to be well-made with a solid brass construction and smooth quarter-turn ceramic disc operation.Pros:✔ Quality Feel – The brass construction feels sturdy and durable, a step up from plastic-based alternatives.✔ Smooth Operation – The ceramic disc mechanism provides precise control with no stiffness or rough spots.✔ Easy Installation – The G1/2” standard thread size will make installation straightforward.✔ Affordable Fix – At $9.99 for two cartridges, it’s a budget-friendly way to repair a leaking faucet without calling a plumber.Cons:❌ Durability Unknown – While they feel high-quality, I haven’t had them long enough to assess long-term performance.❌ Missing NSF Lead-Free Compliance – This is a major concern. All U.S. plumbing fixtures must meet NSF lead-free standards, and this product does not list compliance. If you need a cartridge for potable water use, this might not be a suitable choice.Final Verdict:If you’re looking for an inexpensive and seemingly well-built faucet cartridge replacement, the Yakamoz Brass Faucet Cartridge is a solid choice—as long as lead-free certification is not a concern. For drinking water applications, I’d recommend choosing a product that is NSF-certified to ensure safety compliance.⭐ Rating: 4/5 – Great construction and function, but missing an essential certification.

If you have a drip in the bathroom and have faucet with a cartridge, no problem, just change the cartridge. If you have never changed the cartridge, don’t be skittish. All you need is a wrench, and optionally a screwdriver and plumbers' grease. Takes less than ten minutes. Saves you the cost of having a plumber visit.1. Turn off the water supply to the faucet.2. Remove the handle.3. Optionally, might have to unscrew the top of the faucet with a screwdriver, depending on your faucet design.4. Using the wrench, unscrew the old cartridge.5. Optionally, rub a little plumbers’ grease on the new cartridge.6. Drop in the new cartridge.7. Using the wrench, screw in the new cartridge.8. Optionally, might have to screw in the top of the faucet with a screwdriver, depending on your faucet design.9. Turn on the water supply.10. Assuming the faucet now works, replace the handle.Done!
