Lovely stamps, thanks to USPS philately. However, 2 stars for the packaging. This is supposed to be a commemorative sheet, but it was sent in a thin Manila envelope just larger than the sheet. No platic protective sleeve or inner envelope, no cardboard protection, no outer envelope. Not even a label on the envelope that says 'caution when opening' or keep flat. Basically, nothing except a thin piece of paper between the commemorative sheet and the inside of the postal system. No damage to my stamps, but that's only luck. The packaging needs to be improved.

When I first saw this gorgeous Dragon Lunar Year stamp, it's fiery colors and design took my breath away. I was seized with creative inspirations to not just use it for Forever postage (USA 2012, Scott 4623), which sells on Amazon in a sheet of 12 ($.84 per stamp), but also to use it as a major element for decorating a snail mail envelope. Two perfectly good reasons from one Forever stamp. This awesome Dragon is facing right, with a fiercely opened mouth in colors of gold, orange, red, green, black, and coral, excellent motion with the winds blowing back its scales, how easy it is to not see the expert teams of dancers manipulate the figure, and to get carried away with the flamboyance and symbolism of the mythological animal. What I usually do is enclose a few of the postage stamps I use for the recipient's use.

I bought these stamps as a gift to my friends who had babies in the year of the dragon, so when the kids are older they will have something special to remember the year they were born. I love these stamps and have even bought a set for my own son who was born in the year of the dragon.

Even though it's no longer the year of the dragon, I use and love these! I am an artsy person and sending letters with these stamps adds a neat kind of flair. I like them and plan on buying them again when I run out.
