I charged the battery, weighed the flour and water with a scale, made the dough and loaded the pasta extruder tube. It ran about 30 seconds or less and extruded about 2 inches of pasta when I heard a loud pop, and the extruding stopped and the motor kept working. My guess is that the internal gears might be made of plastic. Something snapped. It is on the way back.

I bought this machine to make noodles and pasta, and it works great with the molds provided but it does not have options for thicker or wider noodles which is what I need. There should be more molds, example for churros or lasagna nooodle.also the cap thingy is plastic painted as steel -y I do not understand it cheapens the machines. but still happy.

I tried to make a fairly stiff dough with this handheld pasta maker, and unexpectedly, I managed to squeeze the pasta out and was able to eat fresh spaghetti without any trouble. And it was easy to disassemble and clean, highly recommended!

This is way more convenient then I expected it to be. It’s common to get the extra piece for the standing mixer when wanting to make pasta from scratch so I never thought I would see a tool quite like this. It is a bit on the pricy side but I can see why. It’s so easy to make the Pugh, put it into the machine, and then you ave yourself some molded pasta to perfection. It’s handheld so it does not take up too much space, plus it’s a nice color that matches my kitchen well. Cleanup is easy and setup is almost non existent. I saw you can also make sausages with it, I have yet to do that but I would be curious to see how that works. Like I said pricy but so convenient it makes it worth every second.

I made pasta this weekend using this. It was very easy to do! You just put your dough in, pull the trigger and watch your pasta come out. It does shoot it out slowly, so be patient. You get a lot at one time though. I love that it is rechargeable so you don't need to have it neat an outlet. You can shoot it straight into boiling water if you need to. It has a variety of pasta shapes you can shoot out. It's easy to change out and easy to clean. The main tube unscrews for easy cleaning. You don't have to worry about cleaning the whole device. I'm thrilled with the pasta maker. I love the convenience of using it to have fresh pasta anytime!
