Cover showed up with only 4 bolt holes drilled correctly. So I'm going to have to send this to a machine shop now. Also the supplied hardware is the wrong thread pitch. Not worth the money. Made in China junk.

2004 GMC Sierra 1500, the hardware needed replaced with some [ Metric Flange Bolts ] I picked up from Homedepot. Sized at M8-1.25 X 30mm. I used all 10 new ones. With Blue Loctite I haven't decided what to do with the Brake Line bracket yet. Doesn't fit well with the thicker cover. Also did away with the magnet. Going to swap gear oil more often with the drain down plug.

I can say that it did fit but it was missing some of the hardware, I guest that didn’t really matter since it was the wrong bolts anyway. Also the drain plug is non-magnetic. Overall it’s not bad but for the price it’s not great either. I’m not gunna replace it but I would definitely not buy it again if I ever need a new one.

I installed this cover on a 2003 Chevy Silverado with the 8.6" rear diff.It fit perfectly although the bolts provided were useless. Yukon shipped it with 5/16"SAE bolts but my truck uses M8 x 1.25 bolts. I simply re-used the original bolts. They don't look as nice as the Yukon bolts but that's OK. there is a brake line bracket held on by the top bolt that would not mate directly to this cover so I put a 1/2" spacer behind it and used a correspondingly longer bolt. Overall its a very nice looking cover that gives the rear end a little more oil capacity and actually has a drain.

This is indeed the top cover in the photo, ribbed silver color with drain in bottom. The aluminum is much thicker that the original oem cover.Amazon claims this will fit my 1999 Suburban, but by the looks of things, it's going to be very close to hitting the OEM sway bar that comes standard on Suburban and Tahoes.EDIT, yes it fits. You have to remove the 4 bolts that hold the sway bar to the axle and let the sway bar drop down. Plate fits right up. Bolt it on, put the sway bar back up, and refill the housing with new stank-oil.Four stars, instead of five, because the picture is so very unclear as to which of the three you are getting, and for being vague about whether or not it has a drain plug. Also, the bolts included were too long. They bottom out. Had to reuse the ugly, dirty OEM ones. Those were almost too short.EDIT:I still love this cover but it's obvious that the rear sway bar sometimes hits one of the ribs. Took a 200 mile trip camping recently and noticed a little drip out of the differential, and noticed one of the ribs had a spot smushed flat by the sway bar, probably when hitting a bump.Either way, I swapped the gasket and haven't had a problem with it since.
