For months I thought it was a component soldered directly to the mobo so I assumed it couldn't be fixed. Finally got curious and opened it up to learn it was a modular component. No more needing to move my power cable "just right" for it to charge the battery. Solid connectivity now. I'm seeing another reviewer's comment that says "Does not fit 7591 P83F001"... I have an Inspiron 7591 P83F001 myself and the item I received fits it perfectly.

Beware. This part does NOT fit the Dell 2590 2-in-1 laptop, despite the seller's description.

The 9-pin jack they sent does not fit the Dell Inspiron 7591 2-in-1 laptop. The 7591 requires a 7-pin cable. I have confirmed the model number with the Dell Service tag.
