I only dropped one star as the hinges feel a little light. Once my lid is about halfway down, the weight of it pulls closed. These hinges wont hold it upright in the half closed position. That said, its less likely to break that way, as the OE hinges did. That in turn caused me to have to replace the keyboard palmrestSo, overall I am happy with it

Although its nice to see that the hinges are provided, the multiple set of models provided of what the hinges could be used on, some don't even match. I bought one specifically for the HP Model 17 by1953cl, and even though its listed, they do not fit nor match.
