I am a small-shop crystal and glass art professional and I have been looking for something like this for years.Glad to make your acquaintance! These pads hold up well under hard use and do not get dull.Now, I just need a flexible version.
The Right Tool

Went through the grits wet on a Calacatta Marble Table Top, spent about 5-6 hours on this. Each grit is pictured though I forgot to picture the 3000. The 500 was a really nice finish for those looking for the honed look.It achieved a very high polish however there is some very noticeable “orange peel” effect, not glass-flat, but glass-smooth. The reflections are therefore somewhat distorted. I used the tools available to me which was a Festool Rotax 6” DA sander.Depending on your expectations these may or may not be for you. The original finish on this table was glass-flat with a mirror reflection. After using these pads I got nearly all the scratches and all the etching out (major improvement) but ruined the original reflective image (detraction).So yeah, mixed results. If able, try a sample prior to use. Great value, but it may not achieve the results you hope for.

They work as they should and will buy another set as needed. I cut stone and these pads polish them up as smooth as glass
