They are are bit big for what they are and seem kind of cumbersome for what they are for. The magnets that hold it together work very well though and the mounting surfaces are pretty good.

The description states “Impressive Quantity and Functional Design”. For me, a count of eight falls short of being impressive. To be fair, these latches do work as expected, and the best thing is their long travel length that ensures the magnetic bond does get broken and frees the door, thus the door is pushed enough to either open with struts or be opened manually. The magnets are powerful enough to safely keep even large cabinet doors closed. All parts are included, with 48 flat head screws.The construction is not as sturdy as I hoped for: all-plastic casing for parts that will take small shocks as part of their everyday use – not the best choice. The holes for the flat screws are not beveled even though these are plastic molded parts, neither complicated nor costly to form them with beveled holes to match the screws. The flat magnetic plate for the door is attached with one small hollow-rivet, not sure how durable these are. There are no instructions included, just the dimensions shown on the product page in one of the pictures.
