Nice shorts. Much thinner than any other Tri shorts I have had. Pad is smaller than other shorts as well. Makes it easier to run, not great for long rides. Great swimmingNot very durable. Wore 4 times. First times ripped on the wall betting our. 4th time scraped the ground and they are now unwearable.

I’m 6‘2“ and 185 pounds and this fit very well, which to me means snug, so it doesn’t move around during exercise. The pad is perfect for short to medium rides (using these for Olympic triathlon training but probably wouldn’t for half iron or more. The only reason I gave this four stars and not five is because the stitching is a little off center in the front and the back, but that has a minimal effect on comfort.

I purchased multiple pairs of riding shorts and kept only these Zoots. They are true to size, padded just enough and very durable. They have already been washed several times and still look brand new!! I could ride all day.

Stay away from Zoot...I ordered this product and received the wrong size. After returning and re-ordering I received a product that was the wrong size AND color. I tried a third time and again they sent the wrong product. I have heard great things about Zoot for triathlon and wanted to give them a try, but after 3 orders and returns I gave up. THEN a month later amazon sent me an email saying I would be charged for the product since I did not return it. I did. all 3 times - especially since I didn't want the wrong product as a reminder of the frustration. So not only did I never receive the correct product, I was charged for it after making 3 separate trips to UPS to return. Never using Zoot again. On to the next.

The Zoot Core is a decent light, but comfortably padded short.Pros: sits in placeThinner padding so no bulking2” leg gripping bands to keep fromcrawlingCons: they tend to run small for ZootsOverall: if you are looking for a nice riding short that offers some cushion without the bulk, these are nice to have in the closet.I have purchased Zoots upper end shorts in the past and I wear a small. With the Core, I had to send the small back and exchange for medium. The small were too tight, the medium were better but not quite tight enough. I must be an in between fit.I would purchase these again.

This is my third pair (the other two are still in great shape) and I love them. Overall the fit (size one size up) leg bands (nice and wide) the thin chamois, and a “modesty lining” make these an awesome pair of multi sport shorts. I wear these just about all year round wither under shorts for MTB, winter layers for FTB or by themselves for road rides. They are awesome when you travel and have limited space in the bag. The chamois is particularly interesting - it’s there - it does it’s job - but doesn’t feel like a diaper. Pretty awesome. Swimming - ok - I’ve only used these in lakes to cool off and muscle recovery - no problem - the dry almost instantly (ok - not quite but you get the drift. Overall and awesome pair of shorts!

These are great for training and race day. They fit and feel great and seem to be well constructed. Ive worn them multiple times while swimming, biking, and running and I have no complaints. I recommend them and will purchase them again in the future.
