I bought this for a costume party, so I didn’t want to spend a lot. On the positive side, the color is bright, it is very long and it’s actually warm. It was perfect for my costume. However, from the moment I put it on, it started shedding feathers! I feel sorry for the person who had to clean up after the party. I tried picking up feathers off the floor as the evening went on, but I think she still had lots of vacuuming to do the next day!

I like the color and this color was chosen because it’s a school color. But the term heavyweight is misleading because the actual item doesn’t look as full as what’s portrayed in the photo. Also it sheds a lot. I pulled it gently from the bag and feathers went everywhere.

Love Boas! And as expected, boas shed. This boa did indeed shed, but only bit. Especially as the hubby & I danced the night away to some 70s music last Saturday evening. I experienced this before. Pretty little turquoise feathers floated away and landed on the dance floor. Feathers gathered around my glass slippers, kissing my polished toe nails as I sipped my Shirley Temple. The scene made for a pretty picture. Yes, I do recommend boas and will purchase many more in different hues. Boas add the WOW to the simplest ensemble.

This would be a great boa to wear around the shoulders/arms like in the flapper or movie star style, however I was going to wear it around my neck for St Patricks Day and it is SO big and SO fluffy and I had it around my neck for about 5 seconds when I realized that this was not going to work lol. I felt like I was being suffocated by the feathers because it is just so big and thick and fluffy! It is a gorgeous boa and superior quality compared to what you may find in the local stores, but it was too much for me to have around my neck. I would recommend it because for various costumes it would be perfect and it is beautiful- just a little too much around the neck, for me anyway.

Excellent and feathers are warmer than I realized they'd be! Nice quality accessory and made my entire outfit! Tons of attention! Dropped fewer feathers than others said it would. Color a bit darker than the picture, but overall great! I was more satisfied than I thought I would be

Im not sure where the "Regal Purple Chandelle Boa, Medium Weight " title came from but this doll was pretty good. It looked like her, but that's because she is a porn star. Fortunately out of all the dolls I had she lasted the longest. but Idk if i would buy it again.
