I purchased this valve to put on the drain of my water heater in the motorhome. After camping, I like draining the water out but taking the plastic plug out was a pain. This makes the process so much easier, just turn the valve and boom - it's draining! I did have space constraints getting this installed, but the lever is removable, so I was able to take it off, install the spigot, and put the lever back on!

Junk, and a waste of time and energy removing my current drain plug. Threads do not fit; this valve will screw in no more than a quarter turn, and that's it. Had to put the old plastic plug back in. For reference, my RV water heater is the EXACT one in the photo for this item.

How special can it be? It's chrome plated brass, handle turns easily, good size to grip easily. Threads feel concentric. No complaints means good product

Threads not compatible ... like other persons review, could only thread 1/4 turn. Very poor quality. Same heater as they show in their posting.
