Have a 97 John Deere 178 LX. Battery was not charging as it should. This was a direct replacement. Works Great!

I had expected an output around 13 to 14 V DC from this unit but have not got it.Not sure I successfully found the DC out wire from the Rectifier. Lots of Google searching but never found schematic for this rectifier.32V AC going into it but battery only shows around 12.5V DC, with the engine flat out, measured across the battery terminals.
