Product does exactly what it states. Only drawback is I wish it came with 2 batteries instead of one

Absolutely loved this saw,wasted money on 3 more 9amp batteries then after 7 short weeks of daily use ( mon-fri) it quit working,the batteries still work,but the saw does not. I have well over 100 dewalt tools,I am livid and ofcourse didn't buy the warranty.

I have been using this saw for a week or more, and I'll tell you it is the real deal! It's the best saw I have ever owned. The only complaint I have is that it uses a light to cast a shadow of the where the saw blade is supposed cut. I have not found this method to be completely accurate; and went back to the tried-and-true method of dropping the saw teeth onto my pencil line and scooting the board to exact position. I wouldn't mind if it had a laser positioner like some other saws I have owned. Absolutely LOVE the sliding part and it will cut 4 x4's all the way through, and 1x12 boards completely in 1 pass. The 9Ah 60v battery is nice too. Battery Power sand a brushless motor makes this saw stand as king of the heap! I fully intendto purchase its little brother (the 7-1/4" version, at 30 pounds) because ...as good as it is; this saw is quite heavy to be toting around. I bought the compact miter-saw stand with this saw and that helped a bunch, and I would suggest you do too! I like DeWalt tools, and I own at least 15. I know some folks like Milwaukee, Porter-Cable etc. (all excellent choices) but I always wanted Dewalt stuff and I have NEVER been let down by one.
