This is a sturdy fan. It’s very powerful even on low speed. Unfortunately it was needed for a small space in the drivers area of our RV and it was just too much. It really pushes the air if that’s what you need.

They work well, but one of the two I received had been assembled badly, so part of the fan housing was bent. I only just recently noticed it. Now I can’t un-see it. Very annoying. That’s one of the problems with Amazon. The sellers send you marked items hoping that you won’t return it. I have a dented gas heater, the bent fan, a dinghy with marks on it…and the list goes on. If they tried giving you damaged goods in a store you’d never take it. Annoyingly, I also spotted the some better oscillating fans in a local store for $7 less. So Amazon isn’t always better.

Arrived then tested. ... blades were hitting on wire cage which was dented in as if jumped on in box..? I sort of fixed... but may send back .

This seems like a pretty well made and simple 2-speed fan. Most of the fan os made from metal so I’m hoping it will last a long time.I plan to use this in my RV, but haven’t yet devised a way to mount it.The base is adjustable, but simply rotates on a ball type mount. It is really tight for now, but there is no way to adjust the tension on the ball, so if you overuse it, it may become too loose.The fan isn’t super loud, but like most fans isn’t too quiet either.I’m looking forward to getting it mounted and in use to improve airflow during the hot summer months!

Looking closer at this closer it appears to be just like the ones on the cab of my motor-home and they put out a lot of air in that cab, the AC keeps leaking out and they make driving in hotter temperatures bearable. This is variable speed though on a 12v cigarette lighter and those are hardwired and remotely activated. This also puts out a lot of air on either setting.Adjustable base is a listed feature but it didn't seem like it because it's so stiff new and takes a few movements to loosen it up

Purchased for air movement at night when power is out. We feel a light breeze from it but it is noisier than I anticipated.
