These reading strips really work and helps my learning disabled grandchild. But the strips wear off too easily.

For the price, this is a great product. Unsure if the film on each of the ruler is supposed to peel off, but it does start peeling after a few uses. Doesn't affect general use either way; just an observation.What can affect effectiveness of the product is, some of the colors (ex. dark green, dark blue, magenta) can be a bit too dark when placed on text (usually in black ink). The lighter colors work a lot better with the contrast.Like that the package comes with different sizes so there is something for everyone.

I use these when I read with 1st and 2nd graders who are struggling to read. I suspect some of these kids have ADHD and/or dyslexia (as I am familiar with both due to my son having both) and these strips really help the kids focus on one line at a time. The kids also love that they come in multiple colors, as they are able to choose their favorite color and will switch the colors depending on the color that's on the pages they are reading. These reading strips are an excellent tool!
