These 18 gauge, 5/8-inch -inch brad nails from the Vine program are, in my opinion, a perfectly adequate and functional option. They performed as expected in my nail gun, and I experienced no issues with jamming or bending. However, they are essentially standard, run-of-the-mill brad nails. There's nothing particularly special or noteworthy about them that sets them apart from other readily available brad nails on the market. If you need a basic, reliable supply of 18 gauge brad nails for general finishing work, these will do the job. But don't expect any exceptional performance or unique features.

Heavy duty and made well. Great amount of nails in the box for the price of the product. Easy to use with my nail gun with good fit. Works great for DIY projects around the home and yard and having such a large box around allows me to be project ready anytime.

These are pretty much standard brad nails. However, you get a lot of them for the money AND you get a storage container that will hold up to years of use without coming apart the way the cardboard boxes do. I'd say: "Go for it!"

What can I say? The nails are exactly as described and there are a lot of them. I love that these came in a nice plastic case as opposed to a cardboard box. Much more convenient this way. I recommend them!

As a woodworker, am always needing brad nails. These were a bargain and came in a hard case NOT a thin cardboard box like others, which makes storing them so much easier. These are of good quality, loaded simply and worked in my brad nailer as they should.

TL/DNR: Would I recommend this to a friend: Yes.I shot two strips of these through my Freeman brad nailer without a single misfile. They appear to be just as good as the name brand. I would have no hesitation to purchase this brand. I have shot tens of thousands of brad nails in my life and these shot just as good as the best I have used. $26.99 at time of review (5/2025).Based on visual inspection, these appear to be electro-galvanized, which it normal for brad nails. They are not suitable for long-term weather exposure.Reviewer Qualifications: Licensed profession engineer (Structural and Mechanical), Contractor (Carpenter, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical), Machinist, Woodworker, Maker.

The sheer number of brad nails in this package is impressive. Additionally, the outermost package is a better quality of box than you might get for a smaller package. There's sub-packaging inside, too, so it's not just thousands upon thousands of (clips? rows?) things of brad nails, rattling around. They're smoothly collated and they look and feel of good quality. There's just one thing to be aware of, if you own a spring-loaded handle style nailer-stapler combo: the length of them may or may not fit your staple gun. I discovered that the stapler-nailer I own will take brad nails with lengths of 10 through 14 mm. The ones I ordered are 15mm. Now, I do need that length for the projects I'm trying to assemble, but I have to get the next size-tier up of nailer, stapler, whatchamacallit, before I can put them to use. This suits me fine but I still recommend actually looking at the stickers or markings on the device you're buying a refill for, to check that the size/length you order is within the capabilities of that device. For a hobbyist homeowner/DIYer, this is probably a lifetime supply, or at least quite a few years' worth, and it's really good value if you expect to use anything close to that many brad nails. Otherwise, I do believe the same brand sells smaller numbers, and/or variety packs with a smaller number each of a few different sizes, also with the same quality as these.

In my experience, brads are brads. These are every bit as good as any other type of brad I've needed to use, but I love the box that they come in. It takes me years to go through thousands of brads, and I hate the cardboard boxes that end up falling apart over time. The included box keeps them organized and protected from the elements. If you're considering buying this, you likely know the versatility of this size of brad. They can be used to fasten all kinds of things and leave a neat, and nearly invisible hole behind that is easy to fill with spackle or wood paste. It will likely take me a lifetime to use this many of them, but it's a very handy item to have on hand.
