Do not hook up the water line until you purchase a water filter. It's encasement is empty and will leak water without it. PLUS, there's no reference nor recommendations for what type of filter it needs.

To our disappointment, Amazon says there is no product support for this side-by-side refrigerator freezer and the icemaker will not work. We have had help from installers who provide such services and they were not able to determine why the icemaker did not work so we are stuck with no icemaker.
