The good is that this flexplate is thicker and heavier than the others I’ve tried. Also, the bolt holes for the crank and the hole in the center isn’t as large and sloppy as some others. However, being thicker means the locking nuts might not thread all the way on to the converter studs. Ford has a nut that’s listed as a connecting rod nut that is shorter and can fix that, but the radius of the dished shoulder is too close to the stud holes to let the flange nut sit flat. If you’re just using a nut and no washer maybe that will work, but not if you have 3/8 studs because it’s he hole is too big for it to grab on to much of anything. They really need to adjust this design so the dish is as far away as all the others out there. Had to send this back.

Very well made, good quality product.It's amazing that this heave duty one was less than what some places were quoting for the stock one
