As you can see in the photos, these are not solid all the way through, this seems like a poor design to me, and other makers have these solid all the way to the screw shaft. The chrome is fine on them, and the screws seem to be good, but the buttons themselves feel rather low quality. I was going to put these on a kit build I have done for a grandchild, but I don't think they can be trusted, so will throw them in my parts box and will most likely be subject to a purge at a later date.

Anyone with a collection of guitars needs a spare set of “mushrooms”. These are well designed, smooth, the right size for standard straps, and with large enough screws to assure they stay in place.
