-Low heat generation and excellent anti-interference performance.
-With power up to 25w, i.e. 2A, it can run one 2-phase stepper motor, one 4-phase stepper motor or two DC motors.
-The larger capacity makes the capacitor impregnation behind the over current protection diode more stable and reliable.
-This module can complete the electrical work of 78M05 by driving the power supply part. To prevent damage to the voltage regulator chip, please use an external 5V logic power supply when using a driving voltage higher than 12V.
Warm Tips:
-When driver voltage: 7V-12V:
The on-board 5V logic power supply can be enabled, when using the on-board 5V power supply, the +5V power supply in the interface does not input voltage, but can draw 5V voltage for external use.
-When the drive voltage is greater than 12V, less than or equal to 24V:
For example, to drive a motor rated at 18V, the jumper cap enabling the on-board voltage 5V output must be removed, and then 5V must be connected outside the 5V output port to the L298N internal logic voltage supply.
Package Included:
2 X DC L298N Motor Driver controller Board Module

It supposedly works with 7V input. But, somehow the LDO output on board output 6V instead of 5V.

This is a good quality stepper motor driver controller, it doesn't come with any documentation but it is quick and easy to look up by using the L298N product number and you'll find the pinout and documentation needed for the board. Overall, works well and easy to setup.

These look like they will work for what I want them to do but I had to chase down other users to figure out how to get them hooked up.
