This is a solid cable. Great length and perfect for my bass amp setup. I wanted speakons for a better connection and these turn and lock nice and solid without wobble. The sound quality is still there and get super deep low end and I don't notice any deviation or change from my old speaker cable. The cable itself has a well built feel and feels like it will last. It has a pro feel and a heavier and harder feel than a standard speaker cable. Overall, I am very happy I went with this Speakon over the standard 1/4". It just feels more stable and this cable helps reinforce that upgrade feeling. You just put it in and turn and that cable is not moving. If you are looking for a solid feeling and well built speakon cable, I don't see any reason not to try this one. At around $27 for a 20ft cable of this quality, I feel like it's right in the ballpark of others. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one of these if I needed to.Update: After just 2 uses, this cable will no longer send a signal without having to hold it at a certain angle. It wasn't yanked or pulled, just inserted into an amp in a studio setting twice. I'd say this isn't very durable as my old speakon cable lasted for at least a decade and had gone through extensive touring wear and tear. This was used twice in an indoor recording setting. The soldering still looks intact so I'm not sure what is causing the issue.

These cables work as expected and are not noisy at all. I have them installed in a static set up so I expect them to last forever. They appear to be of good quality but probably wouldn't stand up to serious gigging for more than a little while. I would order again.
