fun as hell to make popcorn

This popcorn maker works very well. It looks well made and comes with good instructions, but the bag is made out of a synthetic fabric and melts. Next time we are going to try to wet the end to keep it from melting. After watching some videos on the internet we decided to use Methyl hydrate (fondue fuel) in the burner and this burned clean and provided more than enough heat. Not sure what the brass thing is for though. The first time we used it the manual pressure relief valve was open and so it started releasing pressure while heating up. The safety valve is a great feature making us confident that it wouldn't blow up when we were trying to make popcorn. Overall very satisfied with this product.

The bag that came with it is not fire proof. It will melt. Otherwise a great conversation piece or a great party trick. Works every time.

I'm very happy with how this popcorn expander works. It's not fool-proof, but if you have common sense in cooking, it works great!

This is a unique way to make popcorn. Not sure if it's the quickest way, but definitely the most interesting. It worked exactly as advertised and the grandkids loved the "instant" popcorn made when the pressure was released from the chamber. Just follow the directions and it's safe and fairly easy. Recommended for a unique way to impress guests and visiting family.

A unique gift for something different. We popped both corn and rice enjoying the flavor. Used a sterno heat source with good results. I am glad I bought it for family fun.
