You never know when you'll want some extra outlets and since my little trailer takes 15amp, this will be perfect. It seems heavy duty and well made. Only time will tell if it holds up well. So far, it seems good.

Picked this up mainly for our RV setup—when you're out camping with the family, you always end up needing more outlets for small appliances, fans, or even charging everyone’s devices. I needed something heavy-duty and safe, and this adapter totally delivered.The build is solid—thick cable, sturdy connectors, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. I really like the bright green color too—makes it easy to spot at the campsite, especially in the evening when you're fumbling around for hookups. Update: We used it while camping. We connected it to a 30A surge protector and had it power multiple devices. It worked flawlessly with no interruption in electricity.I needed the 30 Amp converter to use at camping sites to connect 15 amp devices. I appreciate that it has 3 connections instead of 1, and it has a nice green color for visibility while still blending in. When looking for converters, make sure you know what type of connection you will be plugging into, whether it is male or female. This is exactly what we needed. It is roughly 14 inches long and looks solidly built. I will update the review when we have a chance to use in 2 weeks.

I ordered this 30amp to 15/20amp RV adapter with 3 outlets for my garage. I don’t often have an RV connected to my RV 30amp outlet, but I often need power from this area and have nothing to plug into. The 3 sockets of 20amps has been wonderful for 3 devices at the same time. I mostly use it for power tools to do construction. One other thing, the bright green color makes it easy to identify in the garage.

Not bad but the wiring is a bit confusing. I used this to splice into a Inverter and found that the wires are black and red which led to confusion on which was neutral and which was hot. Other than that it was just fine.

Added a 30 amp outlet for my RV near my garage door, then got this so I can also use it to power other things when the RV is in storage. This works great.

I recently found myself in need of an adapter to connect my normal 110V appliances to a TT-30 outlet. Not only did the Conable distribution cable serve exactly that need, I'd like to thank them for the details in the product page that really helped me to understand how these things work.Simply put, this NEMA TT-30P plug can take up to 30 Amps, and it drops it down to 15/20 Amp for the three normal household plugs (NEMA 5-15R or 5-20R.)Not going to lie, when I plugged this in, I half expected it not to work, so you can imagine my joy when it worked like a charm!I like the bold green color, and I really like the huge handle on the big plug. The outlets are all very secure and it gave a clean grounded power supply, if you need that level of connectivity.I do wish that the big plug had an adjustable angle. I suspect the majority of applications are aligned with the current plug configuration, but, for some reason, my source is tilted 90°. Not the end of the world, but it feels like unnecessary stress on the source receptacle. Silly of them to make it that way, not at all a fault of this plug.I hope that my 25A of input will not cause this 30A adapter any grief, but I'm not detecting any heat buildup so far, and the connected lights have been working just fine.I'm very pleased with this cable, especially knowing what I now know about the places and ways I can use this thing. I think it's a great value purchase, even if only to have just in case.
