I installed a 30A outdoor RV box in my shed to power the 50A RV plug when in the driveway. I needed an adapter to go from the 30A plug to the 50A plug. This fits the need well.I will take this along just in case camping. There are only a few campgrounds left that only have 30A service, but more likely at state parks and fairgrounds.When running loads in the 25A range, the plug got warm to the touch, but not hot.

Used this plug to put my charge my EV. We already had a travel trailer NEMA TT-30R installed in our garage and haven't bit the bullet to install an actual 50 amp EV plug, so I just used this to isolate the EV on its own circuit, really. It worked great for that, charging the EV at 12 amps and not bothering anything else on the circuit (I've noticed the charging EV can pop the breaker if I plug it into the wall with other things running).But the weird thing is that the 15-50R is facing the same direction as the TT-30P. Most of these have them facing opposite directions. Not a deal killer, but I didn't notice that until I got it and had to kind of twist my 50A plug around. FYI.
