Worked good for only a few short rides now causes bike to cut out above idle14v idle but 3k rpm it's over 16.6 volts at the battery causing issues

My 2001 Arctic Cat 500 ATV is a year-round workhorse on our farm. The part matched perfectly and was of the same weight (generally a fair indication of quality). Of course only time will tell if it will stand the test of time. But saved $$ over OEM.UPDATE: Well, time did tell! In August, after 9 months, the machine started acting up again with same symptoms - the regulator was allowing overcharging. I am still operating by keeping headlights on. On this machine its a pain to change the regulator, but I have another on hand which I'll install from a different supplier but I'll bet same manufacturer - hopefully not same results.

Worked excellent to run a 30" LED light bar on my Troybilt snow blower. Just had to add a 4700ųF capacitor to eliminate flicker.
