304 Hex Lag Screws
Hex lag screws feature deep wood screw threads and does not accept a nut when securing wood in heavy duty applications. Typically used where standard wood screws cannot support the load like deck building.

Stainless Steel 304
Composition
304 (A2) is the most extensively used austenitic stainless-steel. It's also known as stainless steel 18/8 which is derived from the nominal composition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel.
Thanks to the chromium content, 304 stainless steel products show excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.
Weakness
304 Stainless Steel is more likely to corrode from saline environments in coastal areas. That means grade 316 stainless steel is highly recommended for tough applications under the marine environment where there is more powerful acids and chemicals.

I needed a strong lag screw to tie my galvanized posts into railroad ties for a retaining wall. A lag screw that I'd purchase from the big box store continued to twist off in the post. I'm using both a cordless impact driver and manual rachet wrench to set the lag screws. RR ties can be very hard wood. These lag screws are monsters and I have been very happy with their performance thus far. I have not used all of the screws received. I feel confident these lag screws will perform and last for the duration of the retaining wall.

I ordered these lag bolts to attach a heavy piece of equipment to the stud wall. They did the trick!The bolts are well-machined and meet expectations for a higher end fastener with no sample defects in the pack I received.Great quality and a price that is competitive with the local home store.

Nice pack of 3/8 lags. They fit perfect in a 9/16" socket. They drive nicely and are molded well. I always make sure I have some lags in my garage. It allows me to not pause a project, having to go out and get some.

I have bough many of these are the hardware store and the fist thing I notice about these is that they are much nicer looking, smother material and shiner. They seem to be better than all the ones I have purchased over the years so they are definitely worth trying. Can't complain and would recommend over the hardware bought type. Comparable price too.

Went in straight without problems. Would order them again if I needed more. Same as Lowes but a third of the cost! Can’t beat that Great savings over big box screw. Haven't broken any with my impact wrench install. I buy all my hardware on Amazon now. Excellent quality, and much better price than warehouse stores.

These lag screws are well made. The material used should give good exterior life and corrosion resistance. The threads are well cut and are fairly sharp. I pilot hole in will make installation in most materials a breeze. A solid 4 star product!

I had ordered this set to reinforce my front pergola, which is some very heavy rough cut Timbers. I think that there are 4 main 12”x 12” posts and then up off those are the series of heavy boards feeding back to the house. I need some large and heavy lags that would help to better secure it all together and also resist the rust. These were perfect for what I was looking to do. I hope that this helps.
