CO data is 0 when air is healthy

How to test the CO detectors before use?

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and non irritating toxic gas that is harmful to the human body. Before use our CO detector, we can take this detector to approach the smoke generated by unburned paper or cigarettes, the CO value will change, and the alarm will sound "di di di" when reaching the alarm value. Please do not test it by car exhaust and burning gas in open areas, as too low CO values will not trigger sensor operation.

So far taking it out of the box it seems to be very nice for the price paid. Seem to be extremely easy to use. To the point a five year old could use it. 3 main buttons that do basic tasks. Seems to function well also and is easy to read with its color screen. It fits nicely in a vest pocket when not needed and I bought the safety orange color to help locate it easily in case I set it down somewhere as it’s rather small. Like a large lighter maybe. This will help out with all safety needs related to CO and temperatures and humidity in the work place. I’ve bought this cheaper sensor along with a couple other expensive ones to see how it functions compared to the ones over a hundred dollars or so. Why pay big bucks if this little guy can hold its own compared to high dollar ones.Does not seem to be very accurate. Almost everywhere it showed 0 my expensive Klein showed 13 plus.

I bought this for use in my RV when my built in CO2 meter was not working properly, I figured a rechargeable one would be best as the rv doesn't always have unlimited electricity. I was WRONG. The battery lasts a day (at best), pretty much unless you remember to plug it in to charge daily it's not useful at all. It's never told me any PPM for the CO2 over 0, I don't know it that's good or bad, not gonna expose myself to CO2 intentionally to test it out. The one thing useful to me is that it's also temperature and humidity meter. But that could be accomplished with other types of meters with better battery life.

We used this while tent camping with a propane heater. Works great. Battery life is fantastic. Didn’t die 👍

I have had this for a year now, and for some reason, after not using it for several months, I had to recharge it overnight to get it up and running again. Aside from that, these are the things I like about this carbon monoxide detector. 1 - It is small and very lightweight, so great for trips. 2 - It uses a C charger, so I don't need to pack a special charger for this item. 3 - I just tested it behind my car. I set the alarm behind the car on a stool, ran to the front to start the car, and I didn't even have time to get to the back of the car before the alarm started beeping. 4- The beep is loud enough to wake you up, but not so loud that you need to scream over it. 5- the bright orange color helps me to find it in my suitcase and notice it so that I don't leave it in a hotel room.Negative: I lost the directions, and can't find a replacement online. I am trying to find out how to contact the seller, without luck so far.

Had this for more than a year now. I like the idea to have this while travelling, especially in air bnbs etc. i love that it shows the temperature and carbon monoxide levels as well. No false alarms. Simple to use, by just pressing a button. It works well but its starting to lose charge fast.

We started carrying these on our ambulances as a simple tool to rule in/out carbon monoxide poisoning. They are compact and easy to use. The screens are a little dim, but it won't be an issue when used indoors. They alert quickly and are pretty dang accurate. They aren't a $1000 fire department gas meter, but they do what we need them to do. They are also cheap enough that when (not if) my crews lose them, they can easily be replaced. I haven't tested the claimed 60 hour run time, we turn them on and off as needed. I have already used them on two fire scenes and they functioned perfectly.

On the safety front, this absolutely works. A friend who smokes blew on it and it alerted right away. It’s compact and lightweight. So it’s great for portability since I subscribe to the minimalist packing cult where I only travel with carry on luggage. The big negative is that battery life is probably 24 hours give or take. It used to chime when batter was low but that stopped working. I essentially need to charge it daily. Although it’s not a deal breaker it’s not convenient either.
