When trying to scrape off the excess wax, it doesn't peel off easily as my original one can do from my kit. Even by square it again with a flat file, still hard to scrape everything. My old plastic scraper still do a much better work that those new ones. plastic too soft?

This might be a tad unusual but I bought these for skis, cutting them in half to serve the purpose. That worked reasonably well. My complaint is that these are *not* 4mm scrapers but 3.75mm, I know that seems like a quibble, but if I wanted a thinner scraper, I would have ordered one. In comparison, Toko plexi 5mm scrapers actually measure 0.30mm *over* spec.
