Back fence has a bit of a wiggle in certain spots, and didn't feel like making a major project out of the repair. The fence boards were fine, but knowing how winter can cause havoc on wiggly fences, I sunk these and affixed to the 4x4 posts, and while not as solid as a complete redo with cement, they are much sturdier than before and the fence will now easily make it through another winter. I'm glad the fence post holes were done with a narrow footprint, as the post can be sunk into the ground, just outside of the concrete plug, and then using a 3" lag screw attached to the post.

This review is for the ATCWF Fence Post Repair Kit, Heavy Duty Steel Ground SpikeMy plan is to use these for solar lights attached to 2 by 2s. The point will hopefully allow me to easily relocate the lights in the future. There are 2 in this item. The steel is all one piece and where it touches itself when bending, the welds appear to be good. It comes with enough screws to attach your 2 by easily. It also comes with a hand held nut driver as well as a socket if you're using a drill.The points appear sharp enough to easily pound into the ground. You can use the short sideways portion to hammer them into the ground before attaching the wood.This item was delivered promptly and was well packaged.Am I a satisfied customer? Yes Would I recommend this product to a friend? Yes.

This kit is perfect for honey-do lists involving wooden fence repairs. If you have a wooden fence that is sagging or leaning, these will buy you a little more time before replacement. I ordered the kit and made the list. . . now I'm just waiting for my honey to do the project!

These showed up today so I went out and repaired the two damaged/leaning fence post in my backyard. I managed to get the two sections level enough and drove the post repair spikes into the ground with a 4 pound mini sledge.The two sections of fence are either slightly off because I set it that way figuring it would push back but it stayed where it was set, or it pushed back slightly after I released the pressure holding it level on my first try.Not enough to be a problem and both posts are tight now without having to dig them out and sister another post or reset the old one with a new cement footing.Took a bit of pounding to sink them in but both went to level with the soil with some effort.Way easier then setting a new footing with cement or foam and quicker too.Considering how much time you save for a decent repair these are a good value.

Quality and durability is good. My prob is existing post cement extends 9" from post. These are only 4.7" deep. Unfortunately didn't check first, and beat the @#$% out it and can't return it.
