This Calvana Vehicle-Side 4-Pin Flat Trailer Wiring Harness Connector Dust Cover serves its purpose well enough, but I found the fit over my connector prongs loose--just enough grip to stay in place if untouched. There is limited flex to the plastic (I hesitate to call it rubber) and had some difficulty sliding the loop end over my trailer connector plug. I needed to pry it over the plug with a screwdriver, and I feared it would break (but it did not). The dust cover also off-gases an acrid odor, but that's not really a concern outdoors. The covers are suitable for their purpose, but I suspect there are better.

Exactly as other review mentioned. These are not universal or standard.Tried connecting to 4 pin trailer hookup and its to big so doesnt stay on.

These are absolutely not easily installed on an existing 4-Flat trailer hookup.I was assuming I would be able to thread the plug cover through the eyelet which would secure it to my harness. It is way too short to accomplish that. The plug covers that most vehicles will have is like mine in the picture, made as a part of the plug itself, not removable. So when they break that is it. In order to use these you will have to disconnect your wiring somewhere close to the plug in order to slide it down to cover the plug.Even if it was possible to do so these are so thin and flimsy you will get a very short service life from it. Check the thickness difference in my picture for comparison.I would definitely not recommend these unless you have a way to connect them to the wiring harness. 1🌟

Good product but fits a little loosely. I’m concerned that it will leak water. Very pliable material so it should handle cold weather well. I installed the first one at about 50F.
