I have been having some intermittent idle and running issues… Changing the spark plugs helped for three cuts, and then went back to the way it was… Decided to change both coils. These fit perfect I reused the spark plug boots from the old set.So far it appears to have solved my issue… Time will tellVery cheap fix compared to taking it to the shop!

The description states that it is a fit to my 27 horsepower Briggs & Stratton. The arms are a quarter inch longer than the OEM part. I purchased a total of five from different companies and of different manufacturers all were the same size but had slightly different lengths on wires and Coatings, plastic covers and such. On my engine I had to grind down one of the cooling fins on the number one cylinder head to prevent the ground wire from rubbing against it. Other than that they work fine and the engine runs like it was brand new. The engine is not brand new and has got many hours of commercial use on it but it runs great now. Just be ready to make slight modifications to get it to fit not worth buying the OEM part for this little bit of extra work. One cooling fan ground down 3/16 of an inch about 1 in Long. I am a Mason not a mechanic I was hesitant to do this but now that I have the experience I would do it without hesitation. Also there was huge backorder time for the OEM part and 3 x the cost.
