As others said the box was full of small chips that got everywhere. The anodizing was also scratched in multiple places. I have order from other vendors and gotten much better quality.

Came with an absolutely ungodly amount of aluminum chips/shavings in the box. The protective film around each extrusion did catch a lot of it but I definitely would not open anywhere your pets go or where you or your kids would walk around barefoot including outside. I opened unpacked it over my trash can and it took about 20 minutes with a boot brush to dust all the chips off. Other than that there was bit of scuffing here and there, only 1 or two actual chips in the coating and both of those were small. None of the five extrusions I ordered were actually 800mm, four were 801mm and one was 802mm. That I'm glad they're over as I'd much rather have them 1-2mm over than under but it's still mildly annoying as it's not enough over to cut to size so if you need them true to size be prepared to do some grinding. Haven't actually used them for my project yet (Millenium Machines Milo Mini CNC Mill "Casa" enclosure) and I highly doubt there will be any issues with them if some defect is exposed during that process I'll update this review.

T-slots are not consistent. The “40” side and “20” sides don’t accept the same size t-slot nuts.

It's certainly 2040 aluminum extrusions. Despite what the picture shows, these extrusion do NOT have centering grooves, making them very, very difficult to drill precisely to blind joint them to other extrusions. One of the five pieces that I was shipped was also anodized on all three sides save for one, where it was quite conspicuously missing and showing the bare aluminum underneath.

5 pack, 400mm, 2040 black. The length and squareness of the cut are slightly inconsistent. If you require tight tolerances, and you want pre-cut, this might not be for you. In hindsight, I would have bought the next size larger and cut them myself. Having said that, everything worked out great with what I ordered.

The key-way for the T-nuts isn't machined correctly along the 20-side. It won't accept the T-nuts unless you thrash them in and along to where you need them.All of my sections were the same. Bad batch?

These are good quality rails. I bought them to make cross bars for a roof rack. The center hole doesn't have a thick side wall, so I wouldn't tap that and expect it to hold much weight. Instead, I will use 90 degree brackets in the t slots to mount it. I would say each one would reasonably hold about 100 pounds without too much bend.

Excelente calidad del producto, venian perfectamente embalados cada uno recubierto en un protector plastico para evitar rayones y envueltos en conjunto en plastico para emplaye, la caja llego en perfectas condiciones. Asi mismo revise con las tolerancias en cuanto a defleccion y torsión y los 5 se encontraban dentro de las 10 milesimas de pulgada. Ampliamente recomendado.
