I was out of town when these were delivered and I was certain they were all going to die before I had a chance to plant them in my tanks. A week later, much to my amazement, they were in perfect condition! They were packaged with care in bundles of 3 plants with the roots wrapped in foam and bound together with a metal band. The whole thing was sealed in a plastic bag that kept the moisture in. each plant was in great condition with only one or two marginal leaves out of 12 plants. I measured them for this review and they were uniformly 8" high not including roots. A fantastic value and when my snails ruin these I will definitely buy more.

The Amazon Swords arrived early. They came with clear instructions. As a new fish enthusiast I seriously appreciate those clear instructions. The packaging was easy to remove and the amount of plants included per bundle was a great value. I placed another order with this vendor as the care and effort in sending these products impressed me. I will not be buying plant from our local national chain big pet store again. The quality of these plants was very noticeable compared to the others we had purchased for our other tank through the local place. I highly recommend them!! Thank you

This is actually 5 *bunches* of swords. Within each binding is several very small swords which can be easily separated. So, you are actually getting over 20 individual plants. Great value! You should expect that they will "die off" within a few weeks of planting, but will soon grow back into healthy plants once the roots grow into fertile substrate.

This is actually the first time I've ordered plants on-line. The Amazon swords arrived semi-melted near the tips of many of the leaves on all but one plant. I was expecting this. I prepared them like I do all of my plants. Root tabs and fertilizer for water column. I planted them in the tank amongst the other swords. They have melted away. I kept thinking it was rotting rather than melting, but I was optimistic. They have all melted away. PetSmart gets a bad rep for their plants. The amazon swords I purchased and brought home are still alive and growing beautifully, for 3 years or more in my 5 tanks. Big and vibrant. .This was the first and last time I order plants online.

I bought from them before and the plants were great but this last time the plants came wilted and alot of them dead, the plants died super fast., my water tested perfect and the last time i ordered they worked out well but i think i got a bad batch this time. all of them from all 5 stems are completely dead now. i tried contacting customer service thru instagram but no response ever came

Well and generously bunched portions of vigorous plants that you can just drop in the tank confident they’ll thrive, unlike most other of these same plants I’ve bought dozens of times from dozens of others, only to see them melt away and rarely regrow..
