This states it is for a Tecumseh 5HP-6.5HP small engine. I have an older 6.25 HP Tecumseh engine and it is not a direct replacement. The spark plug was match, filter fit, but the recoil starter which i did not really need was too big, but the carburetor was not the same. This carb does not have an adjustable choke.

This is a nice all around service kit . I used this to get our log splitter back in shape. Everything fit like it should and performed well. Runs smooth and starts easy ounce again.
