I did my best to be gentle but when bolting the base plate to concrete it scratched from the hammer drill. The paint on these is not as good as the mailbox itself. It took 2 orders to get parts that were not scratched/poorly painted. The post sits above the base in a way that someone needs to hold it up while the other screws it in. Happy to have a mailbox again that isnt sitting on my patio chair.
