I use this 14' unit with my motorhome, I can store it in the basement and it works great gettung up on the roof as the existing ladder starts at 5' off the ground. I can place this between the grab bars at the top and climb very easy. It is very sturdy for a collaspable ladder. In storage it's hang on one of the door and closes under the unit.

Easy to use, not to heavy and it's sturdy.

This ladder gets things DONE. It folds up SO SMALL. So good, for tiny homes, and RV's.I am still getting used to its functions. The most danger is of pinching your fingers. Do make changes, CAREFULLY.The internal mechanisms are built to last. The sections are strong and reinforce each other. The sections slide beatifully. I love the hooks, they made tree-work ACCESSIBLEIt feels wobbly at full extension sometimes, but is actually amazingly sturdy. When fully extending for high-up work, it's always best to have a Ladder Holder Person. That's just standard safety advice for use of any ladder.I almost regret not getting the version that bends/locks into an A shape, but that was beyond my budget. But with the hooks, and a Buddy, this ladder gets you where you need to go. I may never need another.

I was surprised at how sturdy this ladder is. It does flex a little, which takes getting used to. Yet the flex does not feel dangerous at all. This ladder is rated to 350lbs, and we have had close to that on it without any sense of it wanting to give way. So I give it 4 out of 5 stars I now have 2 of these and for work around the house, I am satisfied they will serve me well. One plus is how they collapse into a small compact unit easily stored out of the way. All in all, not to bad...

Ladder worked great for roughly 6 months, then one day just folded (leg creased) on me and I fell. I’m only 200lb and had no tools on me at the time, and I’m always weary of having this ladder at an angle because it deflects A LOT. It happens but I wouldn’t recommend if you need a reliable, safe means to climb.

This ladder is trash. It's not study. It's flimsy and will collapse on you. Read the other one star reviews before buying this. This ladder is going to get someone killed. I only weight 170 and bought the 300lb rated one for sturdieness but it's bendy and a cheap piece of junk. Don't trust your life with this!

I’m not afraid of heights and not a very big person (130lbs), but this feels like it’s going to absolutely snap even at low heights! That may just be the nature of these types of ladders, but definitely not my favorite. If you use the full extension it is VERY WOBBLY and does not feel like it supports weight well. It hasn’t snapped obviously lol! But beware your first climb!

Really versatile and compact. Very sturdy with a little flex but feel safe on it. There are some reviews saying that your fingers can get whacked, ya, if you release the bottom step first with all the weight of the steps above it. Read the directions, release one step at a time from the top step first. This ladder doubles as an A-frame or straight ladder and is 1/3 the price of a Werner A-frame aluminum ladder of the same size. It's lightweight aluminum and compact, 'nough said.
