Kind of surprised these replacement parts are still available for the old water heaters. Took a little bit of careful custom bending to line up the tubing for a proper fit, but not a real challenge. The pilot flame is really tiny, but a guy with experience with these units looked at it and said that's just the way the flame is supposed to be. I'm guessing the main design consideration in that regard is to conserve propane. Fired right up when I turned the control knob to "ON."
