  • 【Checking/Locating Turbo System Leaks】:Turbo System Leakage Tester Set is used to check turbine system leaks or cooling system pipes.Easily help you quickly test the air tightness of your turbocharging system at home or in your garage. As well as being able to be used on turbos, boost leak tester can be used wherever adapters can be fitted, for example, you can also perform exhaust leakage testing, etc.
  • 【Perfect Compatibility】:9-Piece Turbo System Leakage Tester Set comes with 4 pairs of step adapters.Helps locate air leaks in turbo system components by plugging the output side of the turbo and the intake inlet. The multiple sizes allow for fitting several size hoses, which can work on 1.38''-3.54'' diameter hose. Detailed dimensions are 35, 40, 45 mm (1.38'', 1.57'', 1.77''); 50, 55, 60 mm (1.97'', 2.17'', 2.36''); 65, 70, 75 mm (2.56'', 2.76'', 2.95''); 80, 85, 90 mm (3.15'', 3.35'', 3.54'')
  • 【Easy To Operate】:Plug the output side of the turbo and the intake inlet with the plugs, then use the regulator to connect the plugs and the air compressor, and pressurize the turbo system. red manual valve is used to open or close the air pressure. If the pressure is too high, you can reduce the air pressure by pulling the valve (automatically relieves pressure when it exceeds 2.5Bar)
  • 【Warm Reminder】:Over pressurisation may damage system components. Most vehicle turbocharging systems have a MAX pressure of about 15psi (1bar) to 25psi (1.7bar). Vehicle coolant systems are typically rated at 15psi. Pressure gauges with shutoff valves and regulators help prevent overpressure. Please refer to the vehicle manufacturer's data.
  • 【Packaging Details】:Boost leak tester kit includes:pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, air connection and European air intake, with 4 pairs of step adapters ranging from 1-3/8 "(35mm) to 3-1/2" (90mm).Any quality related problem in 1 year, we will replace the fittings for free or refund.

HOW TO USE?

  1. Firstly, measure the diameter of the hose and select the correct adapter.
  2. Set the regulator of the tester to 5psi to check for large leaks with the valve open (align the operating handle with the hose shaft). And the air coupler is disconnected.
  3. Select the correct size adapter and place it in the hose, then tighten the clamp.
  4. Connect the air connector to check for leakage at the preset value (5psi). If the sound of leakage can be heard, it indicates a system malfunction, resulting in pressure loss.
  5. If there is no obvious leakage, adjust the pressure to 10psi.
  6. If there is no obvious leakage, adjust the pressure to a maximum of 15psi or the manufacturer's maximum pressure, and then retest.
  7. If the instrument pointer remains stationary for one minute, it indicates that the system is working properly.
  8. Release pressure in the system by rotating the ball valve stem to align it with the hose axis.
  9. Disconnect the quick connector, clean and return all items to the suitcase.

This is a good kit, with a variety of sizes to fit most uses. The box is large, and has a place to hold each part. The components seem to be well made.I have not yet had the opportunity to use it, but I see no issues.

This kit is ok. It does work but the quality could be a bit better. I would prefer a hard rubber plug rather than the plastic. The gauge appears accurate and it all works as it should.

This a cool tester!! While I haven't found a leak yet, I've used it twice and it was fairly easy to set up! Seems fair quality for the price, and so overall highly recommended!

The supplied case is quite oversizedThe supplied case feels fragileThe supplied case is to small to leave the coupler attached to the gauge/regulatorRegulator moves smoothlyPlastic plugs work fineTested on my Jetta and discovered my ALH is losing boost around 21lbs.

I love how it comes with two of each size plug, one for pressure, the other to hold the pressure. Solid kit with a nice blow molded case

I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but its a nice looking set - the plugs have a solid feel, nicely finished parts and fittings.there are several plugs with caps and several with quick connects - they can all be swapped as needed and there are several etra fittings included. The regulator feels good, firm adjustment knob.My only nitpick is they didn't leave space on the case for the air hose fitting you have to install to connect to your air compressor hose. Not really a big deal, as it's not going to be used that often (I think) I'll just toss the fitting in the box and install it when I need it. (and if I find I do use it very often, I'll just cut a notch in the case!)

This lets you pressurize just about any turbo system with air and check for leaks with the gauge. You get 2 sets of 4 plugs that are "stepped" so they fit just about any size tightly on both ends. You would plug one end of the system, and then use the pressurizer plug on the other side and see if the PSI falls down after adding air. Use soapy water spray to find the air leak.
