I get a real kick out of this hat. I love that I found it. Most people don't know what The Nostromo is. After several hints many will get it... The ship from Alien! The hat itself it good quality, heavy material. I expect it to last me a while.

Funnily enough, I saw this hat in the cheesy 80s horror movie Neon Mutants. A few wanna-be filmmakers in the movie were wearing them, and I guess I had never paid that much attention to the hat in Alien. But it caught my eye in this film, so I found this reproduction on Amazon and ordered it.I’ve bought hats based on the aesthetics alone and regretted it, so I wasn’t sure how this would fit or look on my head. Right out of the box it fits me perfectly. Fist like a classic ball cap. The crown isn’t too big, and the bill was shaped perfectly right out of the box. No shaping needed on my part.The colors on the patch are vibrant and the scrambled eggs on the bill are embroidered. It’s hard to tell that from the product picture, but they are raised and have texture. They’re not just flat patches. Same goes with the main Nostromo patch.Overall VERY happy with this hat. I will be buying another just to have as a back up.
