Bought for 89 GMC single cab utility box truck and OEM mirror's weren't suffice with rear boxes.Bought these for function but they look fantastic. Very rugged construction, can take a hit and for crowded loading areas they fold in.Didn't use wiring, no issue there, simply hand set and forget, there's plenty mirror and no more blind spots. Install tip. Use OEM rubber and foam backing together between mirror and door and don't crank down on nuts. Definitely use rattle bracket, directions are vague but fits perfect as intended. 5 star plus for the money.

I was unable to get them to work with the factory wiring. However they are made nice and appear strong. I had them on for several weeks but eventually took them off because they do get in the way in parking lots and in my narrow driveway. If your towing on the highway I'd say they are great. If this is the look you want then again they are great. But for every day use, I like the factory mirrors better.

The passenger upper mirror is sapposed to be slightly convex and say “objects in mirror bla bla bla” but it doesn’t and isn’t so it’s a little hard to see out of also the mounting hardware isn’t quite right but they look good

Don’t waste your money or time buying these, they don’t fit can not be adjusted to the truck, tried them on 2 different trucks, sent them back and now fighting to get a refund, all you get is a run around from Amazon, it’s like dealing with a robot. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Installed one and it immediately failed. Only operated vertically and it was opposite of the controls. After trying to get it to move around a couple times it blew the fuse to the circuit. Not my trucks fault as the old mirror worked just fine and the passenger side still works normally as well. Drove around with it until I was able to return it and noticed it bounces alot even on smooth roads.

Cost me extra money to replace mirror switch after plugging up. Wiring wrong and shorts out switch. Figment is good and support bracket nice. Fox the wiring.

As others have stated, the wire connector of these mirrors do not match my 1999 Suburban SLT wire harness. My SLT mirrors had positioning motors and heated defrost so the 8 pin connector did not match the 4 pin connector of these mirrors. I decided when I ordered these mirrors that the increased size of the new mirrors was more important than the ability to move them using the trucks motor controller so I'm still happy with this purchase.

Recommed having 10mm flex head ratchet wrench for the front corner bolt. Took me 10 minutes to swap because i had to come in cocked with regular wrench.A relaxed 5 minute job flex head and regular socket.
