An interesting use of translating technology. The earbuds work with the V-Trans app. They actually do the job. I haven't been able to travel abroad yet but have tested them with YouTube videos of foreign languages and they do seem to translate reliably. You would need the cooperation and understanding of the other party to have a clear conversation with a foreign speaker. Audio quality is quite good and buds are fairly comfortable. A battery powered travel charging case is included with a digital readout.

I have an Android phone I scanned the paper and it scanned good but when it asks to scan the box that the earphones are in I can't scan that code to accept the app is there any suggestions that I could do to program my earpieces

These are helpful. I do prefer making an effort to familiarize yourself with a different language if you're travelling, but sometimes you're just not prepared. These are a great option to keep in your purse or on you to help smooth what could be uncomfortable moments. Definitely recommend.

Ok, so if you think you are just going to wear these and suddenly everything you hear will magically change into your native language, that isn't what you are getting.These are basically earbuds that run translation from an app. Frankly, form what I can tell, the app would probably work with any earbuds, so I'll tackle the two things as their own thing.The app is easy to use. It even has an option to give you instructions if you get confused. It is pretty quick on wifi with about a two to five second delay. More on longer text, but it shows what its working on while it is working and once done plays it in your ear. You get a share your other ear bud and talk mode, a one person talks to the phone and the other wears the earbud mode, a voice call mode, a text translation mode and a video call mode. I didn't use to voice or video call mods. There is no passive listening mode, the closest thing is the simultaneous mode, but its not quite that. When translating you have to select both languages, and select them correctly. The photo translate mode.. just download google lens, it works better. It will not pick it out for you. It claims to use AI. It might.. But I'll be frank it seems to work much like google translate, which isn't AI.But is it accurate? you ask. It's ok. You will get by. It did translate a Spanish phrase asking if we have any new work to "Brother did you pee on the dog".. much to the questioners amusement, but when he asked slower, with less of an accent and closer to the phone, it did a much better job.Ok the headphones. They won't blow you away. The sound quality is passible. You won't want to use this to watch your music or videos. The battery lasts a decent amount of time, the charging case charges quick, and has a nice display inside for charging percentages. They are over the ear outside the ear style, which sucks for listening to music, but isn't so bad for jamming into a random stranger at that gas stations ear.My take away? It didn't live up to its entire potential, it could have been more accurate, and frankly the app without the earphones would probably work just as well as the app with them if not better. I would say its good to have in a pinch or if you are in a job like mine where you situationally end up needing to speak to people that have a minimal grasp on your native language. It will get you by, just be careful about peeing on the dog.

I liked mine. I saw some reviews to the contrary but took a chance and I am very satisfied with the speed and accuracy of the translations.

This was very difficult to understand and setup. The documentation is insufficient in detail and the physical documentation printed media is too small. Magnification is absolutely required and barely legible. The manual is not helpful. I was not able get this to function. Price point is great but the reality check is unable get it to function. I will be returning the product.
