The saddles were what I expected. I put them on my bass and I could totally hear the difference. These are much more dense then my old saddles and transfer more energy to the bridge. I actually used these on an Ibanez Mikro bass because the saddles that were on the bass I couldn't adjust. Please keep in mind that these are not meant to be on an Ibanez bass. They sit sorta sideways on my bridge, but the strings are still in the right place for the pickups so I didn't care. Cheap upgrade even if they look a little crazy.
