Making lunch has become more fun than chore with this mold. We’ve turned plain rice into bears and bunnies, and suddenly lunchboxes are getting emptied instead of picked over. Even the picky eaters are on board. It’s cute, easy to use, and makes boring leftovers a lot more exciting.

The directions were not in English, but the pictures are very straightforward to follow. The kit is easy to use and easy to clean. I did have difficulty using the little white presses to cut seaweed, but had no trouble with lunch meats, so I'm assuming it's user error or the type of seaweed I used.

This item is $9 at time of review. This is a decent price as compared to similar products. It works well for making molds and placing facial features. There are some sets with more animals and features, so make sure you comparison shop before purchasing.

First, this is well made. The rice mold is durable and holds up to me using it forcefully to squish the rice.Second, it is so easy to use. My kids can even use it easily.Third, it is so easy to clean and take care of.Fourth, it is adorable! So much fun for making onigiri as a familyMy only complaint is that the seaweed cutters could work a little better. But overall I love this!

I know this mentions it’s fun for kids, but J have to say that grownups had a ton of fun with it. This is so easy to use and not bad at all to clean either. I was expecting the part to be difficult, but it worked as intended and once we were finished. It washed right up. Such a great wag to add some fun to food prep.

This mold is really good quality. I ordered this to make rice more appealing for my children and will update with pictures. The plastic pieces and silicone mat are easy to clean and are very sturdy. The back of the item is in Japanese so you’ll have to use translator to be able to read it but the pictures show how to use it and it’s fairly straight forward.Update: I was able to make some really easily, cleaned it easily too. I think the handle should be thicker as it may break with too much pressure. I used turkey meat for the face, but it was a bit difficult to do. I also think a spoon should be included.Tip: use thicker or harder foods for the face. Other than that, I’m still pleased.
