Had my mechanic replace the 14-year-old lock latch on my 2010 Honda and it's working just fine. Considerably less costly than taking it to an overpriced Honda dealership for repairs.ONLY NEGATIVE is that there are NO instructions that enable one to do it themselves.

I bought it to replace the original one and I would have been great, but then I realized the original just needed a screw tightened on it and it would work so I returned this one. Otherwise, I would have kept it.

This product replaced an OEM actuator on my 2010 Honda Accord. The quality appeared to be equivalent to the OEM. The new one has been installed and is working properly. As I stated in the headline, trickiest part was removing the front cover which is a separate part from the actuator itself. I watched a youtube vid for help with that. Overall, it saved me some money.

Saved money by purchasing and installing this myself. Thanks to YouTube very simple task. In only a few minutes trunk was fixed. Just two 10mm screws and connect the electrical plug and your done. Don’t get ripped off by the dealership do yourself a favor and order this unit.
