I purchased a Dorman thinking it was better quality without spending the big $ for the GM part. It worked for a few times and then stopped. This one installed eaiser and worked much better than the Dorman from the 1st time I pressed the 4low button. I am hoping it lasts much longer...time will tell. But right now I am very happy with it.

Exactly the part required to fit a 2000 Sierra 2500. Four wheel drive worked immediately after install.Initially had a problem with the ATC fuse blowing. The OEM permits shifting from 2 wheel drive to 4 x 4 while the vehicle is moving. With this one the fuse will blow. Shifting to 4 x 4 and back has to be done when vehicle is stopped.

I purchased this item because it was over 100$ cheaper than those I could find elsewhere. I spent several hours trying to get this part to line up with the transfer case, and finally got it in. It did not work. I went to my local parts house and purchased one for more than twice the cost of this. It went in immediately and worked immediately. I will attempt to return.Update: Product returned and refunded with no issues. Thank you for standing behind your product and service.
