How to Connect the Chicken Coop Door to APP via WiFi?
- Scan the QR code(on user manual) with your mobile phone to download and install the APP;
- Open the APP, register with your email for first time use, and then log in;
- Click "+" to "Add Device" interface. Follow the instructions on this interface to connect your phone to the chicken coop door, and then connect to WiFi. When the WiFi icon in the LCD screen of the chicken coop door no longer flashes, it means the connection is successful;
- Wait for 10 seconds after connecting to the internet, or pull down to refresh. Then you can the coop door on APP, as well as the remaining power;
- Click on a connected device, then you can operate the door. You can click to select different modes for operation. The operation functions are the same as those of the panel controller.

I love the door itself but the app sucks. Installation and instructions on how to set the modes/times on the door screen were easy to follow, but it’s super annoying to connect to your phone through the app (it took me several times before it finally paired). And the app is super bare bones and not very user friendly. I bumped the “unbind” button on the app on accident when I was out of town and it unpaired my coop door from my app and locked my chickens out of their coop overnight. You would think it would at least have a pop-up box that would confirm unpairing your device. Overall, you get what you pay for, I’m sure there are better quality with a higher price tag but this isn’t terrible for the price and it’s nice to have remote access. Now I know not to make the same mistake again at least.

I got this as a recommendation from a friend who just got one and LOVED it and so far ive had it just over a week and cant say enough great things about it. For starters, these are built for winter, we've had a mix of snow, freezing rain and it opens and closes as usual. The solar panel keeps them charged up no problem as well, its always stayed at or near full charge throughout the entire week. The frame feels like metal, its quite rugged and installed nicely onto our wooden chicken coop. The setup of it I HIGHLY recommend doing with the phone so long as you're within Wifi range. I would have also liked a bluetooth option as the wifi range makes it limited to within wifi range. It sets up easy, the app kinda sucks but is easy to use, just slow and crashed on Samsung S24 Ultra. I keep it do the auto dusk-to-dawn feature as that seems to work awesome, the only occasional issue is if the light sensor gets filled with now, it doesnt read it properly and I have to manually open it. Its only happened once this week.The non pinching function works awesome, i tried it with my hand and it doesnt hurt my hand, it just provides a little bit of pressure and goes back up, waits a few seconds and then goes again.

Works so much better than the door we had (even before it quit supporting the software). Our chickens can get out earlier than I would let them out and come in later than I would 'put' them in. They surely love it. I know I do.

Worthless piece of garbage! They couldn’t pay me to risk my chicken’s lives with this trash! If claims sturdy aluminum and plastic construction. It’s 98% cheap flimsy plastic with what appears to be an aluminum bar at the bottom. The reason I have it a 1 star review and refuse to use it is because once it’s closed it’s extremely easy to re-open simply by pushing a finger under the door and pushing up. Any 2 week old baby raccoon could pry this door open! Complete and total waste of time and energy! Save yourself the pain!!!
