I bought this for my baby chicks. They loved it. It's easy to put together and eventually they did start unscrewing the ends but it doesn't fall apart when they do and they can't hurt themselves from doing it. I scraped it of to clean it. Very happy with this purchase!

Love it. Sturdy and they love jumping all over it.

This is great for a few weeks but chicks will out grow it quickly.

This was so easy to put together! It's small enough to put in the expanded room in my brooder. The chicks are still trying to get up the nerve to go into this expanded room but I am sure once they get used to everything they will be happy with the perch. Chicks like to perch on things and this is quite perchable. Recommend for 2-3 two-week old chickens and 1-2 three-week and older. As stated, they are still trying to get up the nerve to go into the part of the brooder the perch is in and when they do I will update with a photo.

We got this for our chicks for the brooder pen and grow out area. Works well and I find them on the perches regularly. Small, would not use for more than 4-6 chicks but that is what we had.

It was absolutely adorable to have the chicks using their own little roost - until they figured out how to unscrew the ends and I came home to the roosts completely taken apart in one afternoon. Still scratching my head to figure out how 7 4-week old chicks figured it out, but they did. Also, the roosts get covered in chicken feces, and as it's untreated, raw wood (I would want nothing treated around my chicks, admittedly), it's not exactly easy to clean.
