This brooder heater is a real help for my ducklings and chicks! Its height-adjustable design is particularly useful, as the height of the pole can be easily adjusted by pressing on the clasp, making it perfectly suited to the needs of chicks at different stages of their lives. It provides just the right amount of warmth for both newly hatched ducklings and chicks as well as slightly older chicks, and the chicks are free to choose whether to move closer to or away from the heated area without worrying about overheating or chilling at all.Safer than traditional heat lamps, this heater has no fire hazards and won't overheat its surroundings, making it perfect for indoor use. The color is also nice and extra high-end, and it's practicality is absolutely impeccable. The orange triangular anti-standing plate is designed so that fledglings can rest comfortably on it, and the removability also makes cleaning very easy. Best of all, the chicks seem to love the heater and they are always moving around it in great condition.The only suggestion is that if there are a large number of chicks (say more than 12), you may need to have an extra heater to make sure there is enough space. Overall, however, this product is excellent value for money, versatile and easy to use, making it perfect for novices and small-scale breeders. Highly recommended to all those who need chick warming equipment!

This brooder box kept my chicks warm and safe. The adjustable height and anti-perching lid made setup easy. It easily fit all 12 of my chicks.

Works well and easy to assemble, no button basically plug in and turn on. The temperature itself is not adjustable, but it’s designed to adjust the heights of four legs to adjust the distance to floor, which changes the temperature.

This brooder box is a great little home for my baby chicks. The orange color is bright and cheerful, and the 10"x10" heating plate keeps them nice and toasty. I love that the height adjusts as the chicks grow, and the anti-perching lid stops them from pooping on the heat plate (smart design). It fits about 15 chicks comfortably. Heats up fast and stays at a safe temperature. It's been perfect for raising healthy, happy chicks.

I have not turned it on yet! I have only put it together, and it is SOO easy to put together. I followed the instructions and I genuinely found it so easy to do. It does have a pyramid topper to keep the chicks from climbing on top, which I think is great to have! (less mess to cleanup) I love that the adjustable legs just have a push button, but they are on the underneath of the near the heating plate so that is kind of an odd place to put a button where your fingers could get burned. However, I haven't had the chance to turn it on, so I am not sure how hot it will get, but it does have a foam layer over the heating side. I will update if I have any issues with the heating of this, or if there is a safety issue.

This Chick Brooder is truly impressive! The entire process, from unboxing to installation, is very simple and truly “plug and play”. The temperature control is very precise and can be maintained in the ideal range of 95-105 degrees Fahrenheit, perfect for newly fledged chicks. You can easily measure the temperature by observing your chicks' behavior: if they move away from the Chick Brooder, the temperature is too high. This intuitive design makes it easy for even beginners to use.My favorite feature is the height adjustment; each corner of the Chick Brooder has a sliding mechanism that smoothly raises or lowers the brooder with the push of a button. This flexibility ensures that the chicks are always in the most comfortable environment as they grow.The conical top is a wonderful finishing touch! Chicks are naturally inclined to climb, and without this design, they would likely climb to the top of the Brooder Plate and make a mess or cause damage. This detail keeps the brooder clean and eliminates a potential safety hazard.In addition, the brooder is energy efficient, runs quietly, and is very safe. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced poultry raiser, the affordable price makes it a great choice for raising chicks. All in all, I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to everyone!

Not warm enough to put in the brooder for the chicks, is barely warm at most I feel it’s somewhere around 76°-82°. Highly do not recommend for anyone looking for a good heat plate for a chicken brooder. Go to your local tractor supply & buy one from them instead it works efficiently, unlike this one & it’s very small for the price you’re paying when tractor supply has a bigger one for $50 with actual functions & temp knobs.

The style is great. I just wish there was a heat setting. In the instructions there are add one but it's unclear how to purchase them.
