I recently purchased this chicken scoop and I couldn't be happier with it! The construction is excellent, showcasing a sturdy design that feels durable yet lightweight, making it easy to handle. One of my favorite features is the long handle; it allows me to scoop out chicken poop and other debris from the pen without having to bend over, which saves my back from unnecessary strain. As a cancer patient after chest surgery, I cannoot bend forward for any length of time. This has a long handle and large scoop to sift the cat poop. This is a very well built device and I expect this to last longer than I expect to be alive at this time. LOLIf you have outdoor pets, this will work wonders for quickly allowing for cleanups. I see this also working for dog poop as well,

I picked up this chicken poop scooper hoping to make coop cleaning less of a chore. While it does a decent job sifting waste from the bedding, there are a few issues that prevent it from being a top-tier tool.Pros:Effective Sifting: The scoop does a good job separating chicken waste from bedding materials, making cleanup more efficient.Cons:Handle Loosens Easily: During use, the handle tends to loosen, which is frustrating and interrupts the cleaning process.Lack of Reinforcement: The connection point between the handle and scoop lacks reinforcement, making it feel flimsy and raising concerns about its long-term durability.Overpriced: Considering the build quality, the price point feels a bit steep. A price under $20 would be more appropriate for what you get.In summary, while this scooper performs its primary function adequately, the design and build quality leave room for improvement. If you're okay with occasionally tightening the handle and are gentle during use, it can serve its purpose. However, for the price, I expected a more robust and durable tool.

The concept is great and it does help make cleanup easier, especially with the wide scoop and mesh design. It sifts through sand well and picks up what it’s supposed to. The main issue is with the handle—it feels a bit flimsy when fully extended and doesn’t lock in as securely as I’d like. For light use, it’s fine, but if you’re cleaning a larger area regularly, it starts to feel like more work than it should. Still usable, just not quite as sturdy as I was expecting.

I like that you can adjust the handle length, as I ordered this primarily to clean out small chicken tractors, so I needed a very short handle for that application. Each section just screws on, and you can add the handle if desired. The quality is ok, I wish it was sturdier, but if you're just scooping up wood shavings it will work well. I wouldn't try using it on heavy or wet bedding material. I have issues with the handle coming loose while using it too, so I may end up using superglue to keep them attached more securely. It holds a nice amount though, and is comfortable to use, I just wish the quality was a bit better.

I ordered this to use as a sand flea rake and it works just as well as an actual sand flea rake but at half the cost! Plus it's hard to find a 10" rake and this one is nice and light, easy to transport.I rinse with hose water when we are done using it as I am not sure how it will hold up when it comes to the saltwater exposure. It cleans easily, but that's just saltwater and sand I am talking about, not chicken poop.Even though I ordered it for another purpose I can see this being helpful with the litter-boxes. I am going to leave it for my MIL next time she house sits as this will make cleaning the litter-box a lot easier for her as she can do it standing and not having to bend down which is not great for her 77 year old body.Therefore its a great multi-purpose little tool!

I tested the chicken poop out of this scoop so let me get you in the loop. This is a light duty scooper and should be treated as such. The scooper does well at sifting straw or objects too big to fit through the mesh (duh), but you are limited in the types of medium you can use this with. I couldn't sift poop from wood chips for example, but sifting straw from wood chips and poop was easy after shaking it back and forth. At 10 inches wide, this would make a fantastic scoop for a litter box, sand box, or anything you need to sift without bending over. Functionally, this scoop can also be used with only one of the four handle segments (bare metal) or two if you absolutely need to the white handle grip.Pros: The head is coated and hoses off well so it is easy to clean. The different mesh patterns make it very good at separating small vs large materials. The overall length is good, with a handy handle and sturdy construction.Cons: Where the head attaches to the handle is a bit jiggly, it simply threads together with no additional support. The length of the handle is comfortable for me (6ft tall), however, to get the correct scooping angle I still needed to bend to get the shoveling effect going.

About as lousy as it gets. Bought if for the sand in my chicken coop, the pole extensions and end unscrew themselves under a 1/2 lb of force/material. Doesn’t stay together at all, if it actually got any weight in it I’d be afraid the pole will break. Sending it back, don’t waste your time with this.
