I would not recommend. Set up for my chicks and it only got to around 80%. Very disappointed for the price.

Perfect for chicks. Because they can get under when they’re cold and out from under there too warm, it actually acts more like having a mother hen protecting them.

I feel so much safer having this brooder and not that hot weird huge light bulb blasting them in the face it's just too hot too dangerous but this brooder plate is wonderful and the chicks love it almost as much as a real mom LOLIt is easy to wipe off you know with just a paper towel. And I'm old and I can figure it out as far as putting the legs on it and adjusting it it's like a spring action thing it's real easy and it kind of clicks into position.I watched a lot of YouTube videos to learn more about raising chicks and all of them recommend this brooder.It's good quality good instructions and your chicks will thrive

Works well, heat in low but you can adjust the level to provide enough. Also cheaper on electricity than a heating lamp.

I have about10 chicks in my incubator that will be hatching out soon. I wanted something other than a heat lamp. This seemed like a much safer option.It also doesn’t use as much power.The chicks can come and go in and out of the heat as they please helping them to not overheat.It came on time, well packed. It was easy to assemble. Everything works as it should on it.It’s the perfect size for what I needed and to fit in my setup.It seems pretty sturdy. I think if it helps me keep more chicks from dying young it will pay for itself so I’d say it’s good value for the money.I think the chicks will be quite comfortable under it!
